One Step Closer

After a grueling ten days of marathon paper-chasing, we mailed about 95% of our home study documents this afternoon! Hopefully this will allow us to schedule our first of four visits with a social worker, and we'll be one step closer to our baby.

As I was looking through my checklist of dossier documents, I was encouraged to realize that the most time-consuming items (apart from the home study, of course), have already been acquired, or are already in the works. We have plenty of waiting to do before our dossier is complete, but I'm shocked at how much we've accomplished in just a few weeks. Organization and daily to-do lists have certainly played a major role. If only I could learn the same habits in day-to-day life!
